PRACTICE NURSE

Appointments are available with one of our practice nurses for immunisations and injections, wound dressings, INR checks, BP measurements, ECGs and spirometry as well as results readings.

Our nurses are also involved in care plans, chronic disease management, and diabetes education.

Home medical assessment

These are available for patients over 75 years of age. One of our practice nurses will visit at your home and complete a comprehensive assessment. You are then able to discuss the results of the assessment with your doctor providing an opportunity for care planning and preventative health.

Overseas travel

The doctors at our practice can give information regarding vaccinations and travel health and organise documentation for carrying medications. This type of consultation can be quite detailed and usually requires a 30-minute appointment. It should be arranged well in advance of your trip.
